I have recently returned to the UAE after spending the last 16 years abroad. I'm interested in exploring the cultural scene in the UAE, partly for my own enjoyment, but also partly because I'm the only emirati in my team and feel a responsibilty to share the culture in the best way possible.

As I mentioned in the previous answer, I would like to show my non-emirati colleagues the side of UAE culture that I love. The best way to do that is to be in a community of like-minded people, and people that I believe are shaping the cultural scene. Also having previously been involved in the art community in London and Boston, I'd like to play a part in creating a community here and building bridges between the UAE and other communities abroad.

Interested in visual arts, music, and architecture. I spend my free time jamming with my musician friends, and trying to learn more about the cultural landscape in the UAE.
