What is your current career stage and what can help you unlock your next level?
I’m currently in a growth and transformation phase as the co-founder of Smiths Snacks, a family business originally established in 1982. My focus is on honoring its heritage while reimagining it for a new era - evolving the brand to resonate with today’s diverse, globally minded consumers in Dubai and beyond. This means staying true to its original DNA while modernizing its identity, product offerings, and positioning for international expansion.
At this stage, I’m scaling the business across multiple dimensions: developing new product lines, entering new markets, and building meaningful partnerships that align with our values and vision. My goal is to grow a culturally rooted brand, that manufactures in Dubai, that thrives at the intersection of tradition, innovation, and community.
To unlock the next level, I continuously immerse myself in global trade shows, push creative boundaries, and surround myself with thinkers and makers who inspire fresh perspectives. I believe in the power of collaboration — especially with creatives and entrepreneurs who challenge convention and spark new ideas. For me, innovation is not a phase; it’s a discipline. And staying connected to a dynamic community like 1833 is essential to sustaining that momentum.
Why would you want to join 1833/١٨٣٣?
I’m drawn to 1833 because it represents the kind of ecosystem I believe in - a space where creativity, entrepreneurship, and authenticity converge. With a professional journey that spans New York, Los Angeles, and Dubai, I’ve had the opportunity to work with global beauty powerhouses like Neutrogena, L’Oréal Paris, and Gucci Beauty. In Dubai, I’ve been part of leading organizations such as Richemont Group and Al Tayer Group before taking the leap to co-found Smiths Snacks, a modern evolution of a family business that proudly manufactures in Dubai.
Being part of 1833 would allow me to engage with a likeminded community — one that is rooted in the region but open to the world. I see the club as a creative hub: a space to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and contribute meaningfully to conversations that shape the future of business and culture in Dubai.
I hold a degree from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, where I experienced firsthand the long-term value of a strong, engaged network. I bring that same mindset here — to connect, to collaborate, and to uplift. I would use my membership not only to grow as an entrepreneur but to support others, share insights, and contribute to a thriving, dynamic community where ideas are sparked and brought to life.
Whether it’s exploring creative collaborations, mentoring early-stage founders, or simply exchanging perspectives, I’m excited by the possibility of both giving to and growing with 1833.
What are your creative interests? How do you spend your free time?
Curiosity and culture fuel my creativity. Having lived in California, New York, Paris, London, and Indonesia, I carry a multicultural perspective that deeply shapes how I experience the world. I’m a passionate traveler and foodie - drawn to the stories, traditions, and craftsmanship that make each place unique. Whether it’s sipping Blue Mountain coffee in Jamaica or hiking through Bhutan's sacred mountains, I seek out experiences that connect me to both people and places.
I’m equally inspired by the art world - from Dubai’s dynamic events and Art Week to discovering famous museums and intimate galleries while traveling, I love how art reveals identity and emotion in a special way.
In my free time, I turn inward as much as outward: yoga and sound healing meditation are part of my creative grounding. I also have a deep appreciation for the artistry of watchmaking and fine jewelry — from visiting Swiss manufactures to uncovering new independent brands, I find inspiration in the precision, heritage, and design of these objects.
In my world, food is very special and brings people together. I enjoy spending time with friends, meetings new like-minded people and discovering new restaurants together.
Ultimately, my creative life is about connection - with culture, with craft, and with community.
