What is your current career stage and what can help you unlock your next level?
Currently I am working as a Senior Associate at European VC fund, investing in pre-seed stage startups. I am supporting my portfolio companies with my 4 years experience in startup scene. I am the first contact of the portfolio companies when they any strategic and operational support. Therefore, I constantly need to improve myself by engaging people from different backgrounds and extending my network both for my self development and nurturing the others accordingly.
Why would you want to join 1833/١٨٣٣?
As everybody knows, having a robust network is vital to develop yourself nowadays and it is more efficient than any school, course, etc. Unfortunately, most of network connections do not fit with your mindset because having different motivations. Gathering likeminded people who aim to collaborate and create something together is unique for 1833 Members Club in my opinion. Meeting members coming from different backgrounds will open new horizons and I believe that I'll also add value with personal & professional skills. An idea of being a part of such a thriving ecosystems is making me excited and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in the club.
What are your creative interests? How do you spend your free time?
During my university times, I worked as a Styling Assistant for different magazines in Istanbul and Milan. I'd say that creating a story via fashion is creative interest so I really like nurturing my creativity with different art disciplines- visiting museums, watching films, and discovering new places in the world. Also, I regularly play tennis.
