I am currently the VIP relations coordinator at Art Dubai, learning about what it takes to build an art fair and a convener for all things creative. To unlock the next level I would like to delve deeper in the arts and culture events landscape and work more closely with artists and creatives alike.

I enjoy authentic conversations and I think that’s something we always need more of in Dubai where a lot of what is seen and said is fabricated to meet the societal expectations of the ‘new world’. I miss the underground scene of true creativity and true collaboration. I believe genuine connection can be made with 1833 and who knows what new project, teammates and ideas can come out of this.

I enjoy any creative medium that brings people together - whether it’s a concert filled with great music and the feeling of being present or it’s visiting an art exhibition that makes you feel something. I spend my time learning about both the emerging and established artists of our region through my art blog arabworldart.
