What is your current career stage and what can help you unlock your next level?
I’m currently in a growth phase of my career, leading food and beverage sales at the Mandarin Oriental Dubai. I’ve had the opportunity to work on the pre-opening of our new property in Downtown Dubai, which has deepened my understanding of launching and positioning luxury hospitality venues.
To reach the next level, I’m looking to expand my strategic and creative perspective by connecting with individuals across different industries who challenge conventional thinking. Being part of a community like 1833 would allow me to step outside the hospitality echo chamber, collaborate on new ideas, and continue evolving both as a leader and a creative thinker.

I’m drawn to 1833 because it represents more than just a curated community—it’s a space for meaningful exchange, creative exploration, and cultural contribution. In both my personal and professional life, I’m fueled by the power of human connection, design-led thinking, and the kind of conversations that challenge perspectives and spark new ideas.
Currently, I lead food and beverage sales at the Mandarin Oriental in Dubai, where I work at the intersection of hospitality, brand experience, and luxury lifestyle. But beyond the day-to-day, I’m constantly seeking environments where creative and strategic minds from different disciplines come together to build, question, and reimagine.
Having lived in the United States, UK, Switzerland, Germany, and Saudi Arabia, I’ve developed a deeply international perspective and an appreciation for cultural nuance. I grew up in Zurich and have built a broad network across industries ranging from finance and hospitality to fashion, luxury, and travel & tourism. I believe I can bring value to the 1833 community not only through this network, but also by acting as a bridge between ideas, people, and industries that are often siloed.
For me, joining 1833 is about more than networking—it's about being part of a global group of thoughtful, curious, and creatively driven individuals who are shaping culture in subtle and meaningful ways. I’d be excited to contribute, learn, and collaborate within such a unique and inspiring space.
What are your creative interests? How do you spend your free time?
My creative interests revolve around the intersection of food, design, and storytelling. I’m drawn to spaces and experiences that evoke emotion—whether it’s a perfectly executed dish, a thoughtfully designed restaurant, or a playlist that subtly shapes a guest’s mood. Working in luxury hospitality, I get to channel these passions daily, but I also enjoy exploring them outside of work.
In my free time, I’m often discovering new culinary concepts, deep-diving into the design and operations of standout venues, and drawing inspiration for future hotel openings—a process I find incredibly energizing. I also enjoy expanding my network within the hospitality industry, connecting with like-minded individuals who are just as passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences.
