Questions

What is your current career stage and what can help you unlock your next level?
I’m in the growth phase of building Yelmani Fine Art Consultancy into a reference in the MENA region. We’ve laid strong foundations — now it’s about visibility, strategic partnerships, and creative collaborations to scale our impact. I’m looking to connect with bold thinkers, cultural leaders, and business minds who understand the power of art not just as a market, but as a language. What would unlock the next level? Being part of a community like 1833 — where vision, taste, and ambition collide. At YFAC, we believe also art is more than an asset — it’s a bridge between cultures, a legacy in motion, and a form of elevated dialogue. Rooted in a Franco-Algerian heritage and based in Dubai, our mission is to connect East and West through meaningful acquisitions and curations. We guide collectors with integrity, independence, and discretion — valuing quality over hype, and depth over trend. Each piece we advise on carries a narrative, a technique, and a place in history — because our clients don’t just collect, they cultivate.
Why would you want to join 1833/١٨٣٣?
1833 represents the kind of space where ideas, aesthetics, and intention intersect — and that resonates deeply with how I work and live. I’m drawn to its cultural depth, curated experiences, and the opportunity to connect with creatives who challenge conventions and build new narratives. As a founder in the fine art space, I’d use my membership to engage with a like-minded community, exchange perspectives across disciplines, and contribute to conversations around creativity, identity & legacy — especially between the MENA region and the global stage. I bring a cross-cultural mindset, a sharp eye for visual storytelling, and a deep belief in the power of art as a connector to transcend borders. I’d love to be part of this living, evolving community — not just to receive, but to offer. I would be delighted to share our Art History passion, knowledge and commitment.
What are your creative interests? How do you spend your free time?
My creative interests naturally orbit around visual culture — from contemporary art as fine art collector myself and design to fashion and architecture. I’m passionate about storytelling, especially when it bridges cultures and eras. In my free time, I love exploring emerging artists, and diving into exhibitions that challenge aesthetic norms. I’m also drawn to the intersection between luxury, heritage, and innovation — whether through travel, collaborations, or cultural events. Also, as a synesthete, I experience the world through layered senses — letters and numbers have colors and texture. This sensitivity subtly informs the way I perceive art, space, and branding. It’s like having a creative sixth sense, and I bring that intuitive approach into everything I do as I can't do without anyway.
