What is your current career stage and what can help you unlock your next level?
Born in Saudi, raised in Sudan, and having spent the past 10 years in Oman, I recently moved to Dubai—a dynamic hub for creativity.
I studied architecture at the University of Khartoum and transitioned into interior design over the past year. Currently, I’m working with Studio Meshary Al Nassar, further honing my craft in a city that thrives on innovation and cultural exchange.
I sit at the intersection of design and food, two worlds that deeply inspire me. As I move into the next stage of my career, I’m preparing to launch my own venture—whether in design, food, or culture. For me, finding a community of creatives means finding my tribe. Their input and support are essential to my growth, and I believe that surrounding myself with like-minded visionaries will enable me to thrive and succeed
Why would you want to join 1833/١٨٣٣?
Your mission of fostering a creative community truly resonates with me. I follow your Instagram and admire the masterclasses you host, as well as the communal dinners—they deeply interest me. I hope that one day, I’ll have the opportunity to host a Sudanese dinner for the members and share my culture with them.
What are your creative interests? How do you spend your free time?
I have a deep appreciation for art, culture, and history. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me outdoors—hiking or by the beach. I thrive on deep conversations and late-night drives, always seeking meaningful exchanges.
I consider myself a lifelong learner, constantly exploring different creative outlets. I love surrounding myself with friends from diverse creative backgrounds and engaging in deep conversations that enrich our experiences, tackling creative challenges from varied perspectives. On weekends, I used to host a foreign film club at my place with friends, and I also ran a Sudanese food pop-up where I organized cultural events and dinners, sharing my heritage through food and storytelling.
As part of my creative exploration, I joined urban sketching sessions and even took on stand-up comedy for a year with Oman Comedy Central, pushing myself to experiment with new forms of expression.
