I’m at a turning point in my career. I started my own “cultural project” last year, called “the book club Majlis”. This new venture aims to create a community of like minded people who share a common passion for Literature. Access to culture is the best way to share and spread knowledge in my opinion. I would like to build a community of readers and encourage people to read because I believe that it is life changing. How many of us found their purpose or grief with a book? After dogs, books are human’s best friends :) Using the skills I’ve acquired in my investment/finance carrier, I’m looking forward to bringing to life a community/project that would offer every reader a safe and creative space to learn, acquire writing skills etc… To be more specific, I work in the climate finance space. I would like to bring a humble contribution to more sustainable world, and it starts with investments directed towards initiatives that are encouraging the sustained mindset. It is also a core topic in the book club Majlis.

I would like to become a member to network with creative minds - I find it challenging to meet like minded people in the UAE, especially when you’re based between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I’m hoping to learn from everyone’s journey and vice versa. What I could add to the community: good vibes and share knowledge :) I’m happy to engage with community service and help with whatever I could help with.

I spend 60% of my free time reading and writing. The other 40% remaining are dedicated to my dog and to piano. My creative interests involve writing poems and photography. I’m still discovery the photography world.
