Join us for an evening exploring memory, identity, place, and history through two artist conversations.
7 PM — Dalal Al-Obaidi in conversation with Sara bin Safwan
Kuwaiti artist Dalal Al-Obaidi discusses memory, place, and identity through her figurative practice. Sara bin Safwan is a curator at Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and co-founder of Studio Salasil.
8 PM — Katia Kameli in conversation with Arie Amaya-Akkermans
French-Algerian artist and filmmaker Katia Kameli explores history, memory, identity, and belonging. Arie Amaya-Akkermans is a contemporary art writer, critic, and researcher.
Each session includes a 30-minute conversation followed by a 15-minute Q&A.
