DAY 1:

"Tarab, Tikka, and Tea"

We start off this trip with some traditional music in a hall honoring one of Bahrain’s best folk musicians, Mohamed Bin Faris. But, no first night in Bahrain is complete without Tikka and some black lemon tea.

DAY 2:

"History and Culture "

We’re off to an early start with breakfast by the Bahrain Fort, and a walk around to experience the 4000 year old ruins. A lunch will be hosted at RAK Foundation. We will explore a couple of museums, have some coffee, and get ready to spend an evening getting lost in dwa3ees (alleyways) Al Muharraq. We’ll spend the evening probably saying hello to everyone, have some food, and just take a tour in the UNESCO Pearling Path project.

DAY 3:

"Bahrain Creative Pulse"

We’re off to an early start for a traditional breakfast at Haji’s in the souq, and we’ll walk around the old souq, pass by the oldest Krishna temple in the gulf, and explore the diversity of the capital. In the afternoon, we will visit AlRiwaq Gallery and have a look at what they’re up to. We will then pay a visit to Ahmed Annan’s studio, before we head for a dinner with artists Jaafar Al Oraibi.

DAY 4:

"Chill then Jet"

We’ll do what Bahrain does best. Take it easy. Should the weather permit (it can get rainy in December), we can spend a day basking in the sun by the beach somewhere. If not, we’ll enjoy a nice meal at one of the fabulous local concepts before we get everyone ready to go back home.
